The above meeting was in connection with the immigration reform issues which were mainly presented by Richard Hobbs. The paper regarding all immigration issues was handed over to Zoe Lofgren along with personal presentation thereon.
I presented regarding the reduction in the present application fees of Citizenship i.e. In context of high inflammatory trend and bad economy. Besides that I also added that it is very difficult to pay such high fees for immigrants who are living in poverty line and those who are on well fare.
I also pleaded that Citizenship test may be taken in the Mother language of the immigrants who are more then 60 years old. The immigrant seniors are finding it difficult to pass the Citizenship test on account of poor knowledge of the English and difficulties regarding proper understanding of the language.
